Cooper is a fun, quirky little cuddle bug. He likes to be next to or on whoever is willing to give him some love. He enjoys being picked up and held. While he can initially be a little timid, once he warms up he is a happy fun-loving dog. He loves to be outside playing with other dogs or just walking around the yard. Cooper loves rawhides, and anything else he can put in his “nest.” He is happy in his crate, but good when outside of it. He is house-trained and works very well with a schedule that changes slightly from day to day. Cooper does not like cats.
At night Cooper loves to crawl under the blankets and sleep next to you on the couch or in your bed if you let him, but is content sleeping in his crate. He LOVES denta-stix, which are his favorite treat for being a good dog. He knows some basic commands, and walks really well on a leash. He squirms a little when getting his nails clipped, but is fine when you hold him still. He is also great to brush his teeth. He comes when he is called, and listens fairly well when off-leash (though for walks etc. I would still certainly keep him on it).
He has no shortage of personality, he likes to watch the people in the house. Cooper’s nature is to be somewhat nervous, but never aggressive. He does love when you shuffle your feet, or pretend like you want to chase him, and for a little dog he is incredibly fast! At the dog park, he is comfortable with dogs of any size and loves being chased. Cooper has never been aggressive, and plays well with big and small dogs alike (He's been in a house with a corgi and another house with two big labs!). He loves getting out and playing, but is content to nap in the house if you aren’t able to get him out every day.
